CALL TO ORDER REGULAR MEETING - 10:17 a.m. 2. ROLL CALL Present: Chairman Palla, Chair Member Lundquist and Smith Absent: None Public and Staff: See attendees attached 3. PUBLIC STATEMENTS None 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MARCH 2, 2017 SPECIAL MEETINGS Motion by Chair Member Lundquist, seconded by APPROVED Chair Member Smith, for approval of the minutes. 5. NEW BUSINESS A. Correspondence Received Clerk Typist announced the KRGSA had received nine items of correspondence: 1. Correspondence dated March 22, 2017 from Paul Hendrix, requesting to receive agenda announcements. 2. Correspondence dated March 2, 2017 from Preston Brittian at Pacific Resources, requesting to become an interested party through the KRGSA website. u S. Correspondence signed by Eric Everett from the Kern Groundwater Authority accepting the terms and conditions with the KRGSA participating in the Authority's study titled "Remote sensing of historic evapotranspiration using ITRC- METRIC for the valley portion of Kern County." 4. Correspondence signed and delivered to the KRGSA by the below agencies that wish to participate in Phase II Scope of Work with Todd Groundwater. Kern County Water Agency Lamont PUD Henry Miller Water District Olcese Water District Buena Vista Water Storage Cowelo Water District B. Finance Report I. Receive and File Financial Report. Finance Director Nelson Smith made staff comments. Motion by Chair Member Lundquist, APPROVED seconded by Chair member Smith, to approve and file the financial report ii. Approval of Outstanding Invoices for Todd Groundwater Finance Director Nelson Smith made staff comments and recommended payment be made. Motion by Chair Member Lundquist, APPROVED seconded by Chair Member Smith, to approve the payment. Bakersfield, California, April 6, 2017 - Page 3 5. NEW BUSINESS continued C. Update from Management Group i. Discussion with KGA Re: Todd Groundwater Model General Manager of Kern Delta Water District Mark Mulkey made staff comments. ii. Amendment to Todd Groundwater Agreement No. KRGSAl 6 -002 Motion by Chair Member Smith, seconded by Chair Member Lundquist, approving amendment one to Agreement KRGSA 16 -002. Motion by Chair Member Smith, seconded by Chair Member Lundquist, directing staff to draft a response letter to the KGA stating that the KRGSA approves the concept of participating in the peer review, subject to further review. J. Lamont PUD Participation Request General Manager of Kern Delta Water District Mark Mulkey made staff comments. iv. Request for Timely Completion of the C2VSim Model Update ID4 Manager David Beard made staff comments.
