The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for child molestation and kidnapping.
On August 18, 2013, between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., the suspect vehicle, depicted in
the attached video surveillance photographs, approached the juvenile victim in the area
of 4th Street and Union Avenue. The suspect, depicted in the attached computer
generated composite, demanded the victim get inside the vehicle, to which she
complied. He drove the victim to the area of Ming Avenue and South Real Road and
sexually assaulted her. The suspect dropped the victim off at Ming Avenue and South
Real Road and fled the area.
The suspect is described as a Black male with a light complexion, 25 years of age, 5’10”
to 6’00” tall, with a medium build, with a light mustache and hair cut in a short fade. He
was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and dark colored jeans. He is possibly armed with
a handgun.
The suspect vehicle is described as a tan, older model, two door vehicle, clean in
appearance, similar to a Buick Century with a tan leather interior.
