The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for burglary.
On the evening on May 24, 2013, and the early morning hours of May 25, 2013, the
suspect, depicted in the attached video surveillance photographs, forced entry into the
Dewar’s Candy Store located at 1120 Eye Street, and took items of values. The
suspect returned numerous times on May 24 and May 25 to take additional items of
value.
The suspect is described as a Black Male, in his late 20s to early 30s, with short black
hair, and a black mustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt,
dark colored shorts, dark colored gloves, black socks and gray and black athletic shoes.
