On August 8, 2013, Las Vegas Police Department arrested Miracle Jackson on the arrest warrant out of Bakersfield, California for two counts of murder, armed robbery and participation in a criminal street gang. Jackson, pending extradition, will be transported back to Bakersfield, California. Previous Release July 27, 2013 The Bakersfield Police Department has continued to investigate the double homicide and robbery that occurred at First Reliable, a medical marijuana collective, located at 217 Chester Avenue on July 17, 2013. The department has received numerous leads from the community on the possible whereabouts of Aaron Patrick Burris, 32 of Bakersfield, which has resulted in an extensive search throughout the City of Bakersfield. On July 26, 2013, around 5:00 p.m. this search led officers to a residence in the 10 block of Wainwright Drive. Surveillance was established and officers were able to determine that Burris was inside this residence. A surrender call out was initiated and after approximately seven minutes, Burris exited and was taken into custody without incident. Burris was booked into the Kern County Jail on a warrant for murder and robbery. The investigation also led to the arrest of the following individuals for accessory and participation in a criminal street gang: Robert Thrower (30), Jamie Wandick (25), Darnell Warren (24), Joevaughn Spencer (23), and Danny Webster (25). The investigation is ongoing as detectives still are looking for the female involved in this incident.
