The Bakersfield Police Department has made two arrests for attempted murder regarding Wednesday’s
assault in the 500 block of 19th Street.
The investigation led to the identification and arrest of two suspects identified as Wilbert Robinson, 41,
and Tashina Hughey, 29. Robinson was arrested for attempted murder, robbery, conspiracy and
resisting arrest. Hughey was arrested for attempted murder, robbery and conspiracy.
A third suspect, pictured in the attached video surveillance photographs, remains outstanding. The
suspect has a possible first name of “Aaron” and goes by the nickname of “Big A.” He is described as a
Black male, 40s, wearing dark clothing.

On September 4, 2013, at approximately 1:47 a.m., Bakersfield Police Officers responded to a man down
in the 500 block of 19th Street.
When officers arrived, they located the adult male victim suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim
was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation is continuing.
