The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in
identifying two suspects wanted for assault with a deadly weapon with a firearm.
On September 18, 2013, at approximately 10:11 p.m., Bakersfield Police Officers
responded to the Fastrip, located at 805 34th Street for a victim of a shooting. When
officers arrived, they located one victim nearby with moderate to major injuries. Three
additional victims were transported from the scene by private means to a local hospital
with minor injuries.
A fifth victim arrived at a local hospital hours later and was interviewed by investigators.
The victim was determined to be related to this incident.
The first suspect is described as a Black male, 17 to 20 years of age, 6’00” tall, 130 lbs.,
wearing a tank top and blue jeans.
The second suspect is described as a Black male, 17 to 20 years of age, 6’00” tall, 130
lbs., wearing a tank top and gray jeans.
The investigation is continuing.
