The Bakersfield Police Department, in conjunction with the Kern
County Sheriff’s Office and California Highway Patrol, is hosting a
special community event in the park.
On Saturday, October 19, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.,
first responders and public safety employees who serve the
Bakersfield and Kern County area will be providing
demonstrations, public safety information, games, food and much
more at Beach Park, 3400 21st Street. The event is FREE and
open to the public. Come meet the men and women who aid your
community each day!
The event will provide your family and friends with a fun and
educational look at public safety services in Kern County.
