The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for armed robbery and burglary.
On August 31, 2013, at approximately 9:18 p.m., Bakersfield Police Officers were
dispatched to the Chevron Gas Station, located at 4100 California Avenue regarding an
armed robbery that just occurred. When officers arrived, they learned, the suspect,
depicted in the attached video surveillance photographs, entered the business and
displayed a firearm at the clerk. The suspect then demanded currency and the
employee complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspect fled the business with the
currency.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 30 to 35 years of age, 150 lbs., with a small
build, short black hair, and a mustache and goatee. He was last seen wearing a black t-
shirt over a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a pair of white shoes.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is urged to contact the
