The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for strong-arm robbery and burglary.
On October 1, 2013, at approximately 8:41 p.m., Bakersfield Police Officers responded
to the 7-Eleven Store, located at 2331 Chester Lane for a robbery that just occurred.
When officers arrived, they learned the suspect entered the store, took food items and
failed to produce payment. When the suspect attempted to exit the business without
paying, she was confronted by an employee. The suspect sprayed the employee in the
face with pepper spray and fled the business with the loss.
The suspect, depicted in the attached video surveillance photograph, is described as a
Black female, in her 20s, 5’06” tall, with a slim build, dark hair and brown eyes. She
was last seen wearing a grey sweater and blue pants and carrying a checkered blue
and white bag.
