RESOLUTION NO. 127, 13
RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF
2002 FORD WINDSTAR VAN
TO THE BAKERSFIELD HOMELESS CENTER,
A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION
FOR TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($2,500)
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses a 2002 Ford Windstar Van
which is no longer in service; and
WHEREAS, the Bakersfield Homeless Center, a nonprofit organization,
desires to purchase the surplus vehicle at a cost of two thousand five hundred
dollars ($2,500); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section
3.20.120(F) the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus
equipment to a nonprofit organization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated
herein by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell a surplus Ford
Windstar van to the Bakersfield Homeless Center for two thousand
five hundred dollars ($2,500)
