For Immediate Release October 31, 2013
Today, October 31, 2013, at approximately 11:00 A.M. the Bakersfield
Police Department initiated a Halloween compliance operation. The
Bakersfield Police Department, Career Criminal Apprehension Team and
Detectives from the Child Abuse/ Sexual Assault Unit will be making
contact with several registered sex offenders in the City of Bakersfield
today. Officers and Detectives are conducting compliance checks
throughout the day and evening, verifying these individuals are in
compliance with their registration status and/or probation/parole status.
If anyone has information that a subject is a registered sex offender and out
of compliance please contact the Bakersfield Police Department at (661)
327-7111.
