RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF
2007 HARLEY DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLE
TO THE KERN COUNTY MUSEUM,
A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION
FOR ONE DOLLAR ($1.00)
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses a 2007 Harley Davidson
Motorcycle which is no longer in service; and
WHEREAS, the Kern County Museum, a nonprofit organization, desires to
receive the surplus motorcycle at a cost of one dollar ($1.00); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section
3.20.120(F) the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus
equipment to a nonprofit organization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated
herein by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell a surplus
Harley Davidson motorcycle to the Kern County Museum for one
dollar ($1.00)
