A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT A CORSAIR
PORTABLE GRILL CANNOT BE REASONABLY
OBTAINED THROUGH THE USUAL BIDDING
PROCEDURES AND AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE
DIRECTOR TO DISPENSE WITH BIDDING
THEREFOR, AND PURCHASE SAID EQUIPMENT
FROM CORSAIR DISPLAY SYSTEMS, LLC IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $43,000.
WHEREAS, the Rabobank Arena currently uses food carts; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase an additional grill cart to match existing
food carts at the Rabobank Arena; and
WHEREAS, AEG Management staff has determined that the portable grill carts
provided by Corsair Display Systems, LLC will successfully integrate into existing facility
equipment; and
WHEREAS, Selected supplier can meet specified delivery for installation of a grill
cart to provide additional food service options for patrons of Rabobank Arena events;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and incorporated herein by
reference.
2. The above - referenced grill cart can be reasonably obtained from Corsair
Display Systems, LLC and will be installed to provide additional food carts for patrons of
Rabobank Arena events.
3. The Finance Director is authorized to dispense with bidding, in
accordance with Section 3.20.060 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code.
4. The expenditure of funds for such equipment shall not exceed forty three
thousand dollars ($43,000).
