A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE REPAIR
AND REPLACEMENT OF THE PICNIC SHADE
SHELTER ROOF CANNOT BE REASONABLY
OBTAINED THROUGH THE USUAL BIDDING
PROCEDURES AND AUTHORIZING THE
FINANCE DIRECTOR TO DISPENSE WITH
BIDDING THEREFOR AND REQUEST SHADE
SHELTER ROOF REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT
SERVICES FROM GAMETIME, NOT TO EXCEED
$16,083.
WHEREAS, the City desires the repair and replacement of the picnic shade
shelter roof at Jastro Park to be performed by Gametime; and
WHEREAS, Gametime was the original shade provider and installer of the
picnic shade shelter roof at Jastro Park; and
WHEREAS, Gametime has the materials, supplies, and personnel available to
meet the City's necessity for the successful integration of the repair and
replacement to restore the picnic shade shelter roof at Jastro Park to its original
condition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
follows:
The above recitals are true and correct and incorporated herein by
reference.
2. The work, supplies, equipment or materials can only be reasonably
obtained from one vendor because of restricted availability of such work, supplies,
equipment or materials.
3. The Finance Director is authorized to dispense with bidding in
accordance with Section 3.20.060 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code.
4. The expenditure of funds for said work, supplies, equipment or materials
shall not exceed $16,083.
