I would ask that the road pad around the perimeter be cleaned of weeds, during the lowering process. I had a conversation with Jim Holiday on Friday to see if he was o.k. with borrowing from the sump. He had no issue with it as but stipulated if the design water depth exceeded 10’ we would need a slope stability analysis. The current design depth of the sump is 8’ so it can lower it 2’ without a slope stability analysis. The attached sketch shows what we would like to do. The ramp would be extended at the 15% and a 30’ bench would be left around the existing outlet structure (similar to how we lowered the sump for tract 7222). The result would be an additional 1 AC-FT. of storage. Please confirm this is acceptable and if so can you have the gate unlocked on Thursday so the grading contractor can access the sump. Thanks.
