The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating
the following High Risk Sex Offender who has not reported to his parole officer since
being released from prison.
Shawn Alvarez (AKA Johnny Perez), hispanic male, 41,
5’7”, 190 lbs., black hair, brown eyes
was recently released from prison and never reported to his parole officer. Alvarez also
has a warrant for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender.
Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call Detective John
Rodriguez at (661) 326-3870 or the Bakersfield Police Department at (661) 327-7111.
