On 12/20/13, at 7:55 p.m., Officers responded to a victim of a stabbing outside the
market at 701 E. California Avenue and located a 51 year old male suffering from a stab
wound to the chest. The victim indicated he was standing outside the market when he
was approached by two Hispanic males who tried to rob him for his property. When the
victim refused, one of the two males stabbed him. The victim was transported to a local
hospital with life threatening injuries. Anyone with information regarding this incident is
encouraged to call Detective Diaz at 326-3513.
