For Immediate Release January 13, 2014
On Tuesday, December 10th, 2013, at approximately 10:00 PM officers
responded to the Dollar General, 401 4th Street, regarding a robbery that had just
occurred. The reporting party informed the officers that the suspect entered the
store and selected merchandise and then concealed the merchandise into his
own bag. An employee confronted the suspect who brandished a knife and fled
out of the business with the merchandise. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a:
Black Male Adult, No further information
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is encouraged to call the
Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Detective Todd Dickson at 326-
3871.
