The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying
and locating the following suspect wanted for Robbery. On January 12, 2014, at 7:58
pm the suspect entered the Gamestop Store located at 9160 Rosedale Hwy. The
suspect selected and concealed merchandise and left the store without paying. Once
outside, the suspect was contacted by another customer who had witnessed the
incident. The witness tried to persuade the suspect to return and pay for the loss but the
suspect produced a knife and brandished the knife in a threatening manner at the
witness saying “I’m not going back to jail.” The witness was able to disarm the suspect
and retrieve the loss. The suspect fled with the knife.
The suspect is described as a:
hispanic male, 30, 6’0”, thin build
wearing a brown jacket, black shirt,
brown shorts and black baseball cap.
