For the past year investigators assigned to the South Tri-County - High Intensity Drug
Trafficking Area (STC-HIDTA) have been conducting a drug trafficking investigation in
to the activities of Daniel Davis, 26, of Bakersfield. Their investigation revealed that
Davis, a documented member of the Warlord Bloods criminal street gang had been
distributing and selling large quantities of methamphetamine and firearms including an
assault rifle with a high capacity magazine.
On December 29, 2013, at 5:40 pm officers of the Bakersfield Police Special
Enforcement Unit contacted and arrested Davis at 3300 White Ln. Davis was arrested
for an arrest warrant alleging Possession of Methamphetamine for Sales,
Transportation of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of
a Large Capacity Magazine, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Sell, Lease or Transfer a
Firearm without a License, Sell, Loan or Transfer a Firearm to anyone who is not the
Purchaser and Possession of an Assault Rifle. Davis pled to eight years at his
preliminary hearing.
