On January 31, 2014, at about 10:00 am, after an approximate two-week investigation,
Bakersfield police narcotics detectives served a search warrant at 701 Broken Arrow
Ave. The purpose of the warrant was suspicion of a methamphetamine lab inside the
residence. Once inside the residence detectives located and operational
methamphetamine lab and the precursors to manufacture methamphetamine. Jessy
Bowman, 33 of Bakersfield, and Maximus Sallam, 25 of Bakersfield were arrested for
Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Precursors of the Manufacture of
Methamphetamine and Conspiracy. Bowman and Sallam were booked into the Kern
County Jail.
