The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying
and locating the following suspect wanted for Petty Theft and Grand Theft Auto. On
January 13, 2014, at 1:52 pm the suspect, described as a:
white or hispanic male, 20-30, 6’0”, 185, short brown hair,
wearing a baseball cap, blue long-sleeve shirt
white t-shirt and blue jeans
entered the Rite Aid located at 1107 Calloway Dr. The suspect selected two bottles of
wine and exited the store without paying for the merchandise. A store employee
followed the suspect to the parking lot and observed the suspect enter a vehicle which
was later determined to be stolen. The vehicle has since been recovered in the
downtown area.
