The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying and
locating the following suspects wanted for Robbery. On February 11, 2014, at 12:30 pm, the
suspects entered the Target located at 2901 Ming Avenue, where Suspect #1 selected and
concealed merchandise, while Suspect #2 acted as a “lookout.” As both suspects were exiting
the store the Loss Prevention Officer identified himself in order to detain the suspects. Suspect
#1 punched the Loss Prevention Officer in the face. As both suspects struggled with the Loss
Prevention Officer, Suspect #1 brandished a knife; however, no injuries were sustained during
the struggle. Both suspects fled westbound towards Wible Road on foot.
Suspect #1 is described as a:
Hispanic male, 16-18 years old, 5’7”-5’8”, 130 lbs, thin build, braces, wearing a black
hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a dark colored Dallas Cowboys baseball cap.
Suspect #2 is described as a:
Hispanic male, 16-18 years old, 130 lbs, slim build, wearing a grey and white striped shirt,
black pants, and a black and grey Oakland Raiders baseball cap.
