The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating an
at-risk adult, missing person. Brittany Layne York, 20 years, of Bakersfield was last
seen at 7:00 AM on Saturday February 22, 2014 in the 700 block of 8th Street. York left
the area on foot, voluntarily; however, is in need of medication.
York is described as:
WFA 20 years 5’-3”, 145 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes
wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt and pink camouflage shorts
Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call the Bakersfield Police
