WHERE NEW ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT IS TO CONFORM TO EXISTING PAVED SURFACES THE EXISTING PAVEMENT IS TO BE SAW CUT IN A NEAT STRAIGHT LINE, EITHER PARALLEL OR PERPENDICULAR TO THE CENTERLINE OF THE STREET, AND AT A MINIMUM DISTANCE OF ONE (1) FOOT FROM THE EXl PAVEMENT.
