FOUNDATIONS
A. For allowable soil bearing values refer to the Krazon &
Associates Soils Report KA No. 022 - 06251, Dated 1-- 23-07.
Updated KA No. 026-- 13316, Dated 7- 19 --13.
CONCRETE
A. Materials:
1. Reinforcing: Deformed ASTM A615, Grade 40.
2. Cement: Portland Cement, Type 11, ASTM C-150,
3. Aggregate: ASTM C--33.
4. Water: Clean and Drinkable.
Be Concrete Mix Design For Footings and Well Grouting:
1. Class "B" Concrete, 2500 PSI 0 28 Drays.
2. 5.0 Sacks of Cement (min) per Cubic Yard.
3. 1 1/2" Ag regate (max).
4. 4" Slump max).
C. Admixtures: Only as approved by the Engineer.
MASONRY
A. Materials:
1. Concrete Block Masonry Units: ASTM C -90

Be Mortar:
1. Strength: Type S. 1200 PSI 0 7 days and 1800 PSI
0 28 days.
C. Grout:
1. Strength: 1500 PSI 0 7 days and 2500 PSI 0 28
days.
2. Concrete block masonry units shall be dry and
clean before grouting operation.
3. "Wet- -setting" of the first course of block will be allowed.

FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL PURSUANT TO BMC SECTION 17.60.110 (N). ONE
COPY OF THE SIGN PLAN SHALL ALSO BE SUBMITTED TO THE PARKS DIVISION
FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL. SIGN PLANS SHALL INCLUDE COPY, DIMENSIONS,
COLOR, MATERI -ALS, LIGHTING, ANCHORAGE AND LOCATION OF SIGN(S).
APPROVAL OF THESE WALL PLANS BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR DOES
NOT INCLUDE APPROVAL OF ANY SIGN AGE.
16. FOOTINGS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE WIDTH SHOWN ON THE PLANS BY MORE
THAN 2 "e ANY FORMWORK NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN THIS FOOTING WIDTH
SHALL EXTEND BELOW THE FINSIHED TOP OF GRADE AT LEAST 16" OR THE
DEPTH OF THE FOOTING, WHICHEVER IS LESS.
17. AN OPEN STREET PERMIT SHALL BE OBTAINED FROM THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD PUBLIC WORKS DEPT. FOR ANY WORK PERFORMED WITHIN
EXISTING ACCEPTED STREET RIGHT --OF -WAY. UNLESS SECURED BY A
SUBDIVISION AGREEMENT, A DEPOSIT BASED UPON AN APPROVED ENGINEER'S
SHALL BE POSTED PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF THE PERMIT.
18. ANY WORK CONNECTING TO EXISTING PUBLIC FACILITIES FROM PRIVATE PROPERTY
WILL REQUIRE AN ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE FOR THE WORK IN THE EXISTING PUBLIC
FIGHT- -OF-WAY TO ESTABLISH THE NECESSARY DEPOSIT.
