While on the way to the call, officers were notified of an injury collision and additional shots fired nearby at White Lane and Wilson Road. Responding officers found an abandoned wrecked vehicle. Investigating officers found the vehicle’s owner, Julio Chavez, age 33, of Bakersfield, had been involved in the original peace disturbance at FoodMaxx and had fired a shot at people involved in that dispute.
