For Immediate Release March 15, 2014
On Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 9:45 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of
Wilson Road and New Stine Road, concerning reports of an injury collision.
Investigation revealed a black Toyota/Corolla was being driven westbound on Wilson
Road by Anita Lutin 19, of Bakersfield, when it collided with a gray Chevrolet/pickup,
being driven southbound on New Stine Road by Joslyn Reyes 25, also of Bakersfield.
Lutin and her two juvenile passengers were uninjured as a result of the collision.
Reyes and three juvenile passengers in her vehicle sustained minor injuries and were
transported to Kern Medical Center for treatment.
Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in this collision.
