For Immediate Release March 16, 2014
On Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 9:59 p.m. Officers responded to reports of shots fired in
the 300 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard.
On arrival, Officers located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to Kern Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim’s name will be released at a later time by the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
