Upon officers’ arrival the infant was being transported to an area hospital by Hall Ambulance personnel. The two-month old infant was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The cause of death will be determined by the Kern County Coroner’s Office. As with all infant deaths, detectives responded and initiated an investigation which is continuing.
