She again did not announce herself or answer the door. A short time later the suspects kicked open the front door and entered the residence. The suspects were able to drive the vehicle to Panama Ln. just east of Ashe Rd. where it became disabled and the suspects abandoned the vehicle and fled into the neighborhood on the southeast corner of Panama Ln. and Ashe Rd. on foot. At this point officers began arriving on scene and were able to apprehend two of the suspects before they jumped over a fence into the backyard of residence. Those two suspects were taken into custody without incident. The third suspect was able to make it over the fence and conceal himself. Officers quickly established a perimeter around the area and a police service dog was used to locate the third suspect who refused officers’ commands to surrender and was apprehended with the assistance of the police canine.
