On 4/1/14 at approximately 1:18am, officers from the Bakersfield Police Department were
dispatched to the 1500 block of East Brundage Lane in regards to a check the welfare call of a
man down. Upon arrival officers found a male victim near the railroad tracks who was
deceased. Preliminary investigation revealed the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The
investigation is ongoing.
