Francisco Argueta returned home on April 2, 2014, at 5:30 pm. He said his truck broke
down in Bakersfield on April 1, 2014, so he spent the night in his vehicle until two
unidentified good Samaritans helped him get it started on April 2, 2014, and he was
able to return home.

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating
a missing person considered at risk due medical issues.
Francisco Argueta (76) of Bakersfield was last seen leaving his residence on Tuesday,
April 1, 2014 at 11:00 am in the 4600 block of Panorama Drive. He left occupying a
white 2003 Chevrolet truck, CA license 7A32007.
Argueta is described as a Hispanic male adult, 5’11”, 185 pounds, white balding hair,
brown eyes, wearing an unknown color shirt, beige pants, and no shoes. He has an
amputated left leg and requires the use of a wheelchair.

Argueta has been known to travel to the areas of McFarland, California and Paramount,
California.
Anyone with information regarding Argueta’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the
