The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying and
locating the following suspect wanted for Robbery and Criminal Threats. On March 16, 2014, at
10:35 pm, the suspect entered the Wal-Mart, located at 5075 Gosford Road. Store employees
watched as the suspect removed a tire tube and box-cutter from their packaging, conceal the
items in his right front jacket pocket, and exit the store without paying. Wal-Mart employees
attempted to contact the suspect, who refused to stop and threatened them. The suspect fled
southbound through the parking lot on a black mountain bike and is possibly homeless. The
suspect has been seen at the store panhandling in the past.
The suspect is described as a:
hispanic male, 40-45, 5’10”, 180 lbs, black long hair, black goatee, brown eyes, wearing a
black beanie, blue windbreaker jacket, white t-shirt, black pants, grey “Vans” style shoes,
and white headphones.
