A RESOLUTION DECLARING REAL PROPERTY
SURPLUS TO THE NEEDS OF THE CITY AND
AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
NEGOTIATE ITS SALE
WHEREAS, the City owns a fee simple interest in property located at the
NEC of Kern Street and East 21St Street; and,
WHEREAS, Rodney Wade Crawford and Julie Anne Crawford have
requested the City sell this property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
WHEREAS, the Bakersfield Planning Department found the sale of this
property to be consistent with the Metropolitan Bakersfield 2010 General Plan
pursuant to Government Code Section 65402.
WHEREAS, Bakersfield Municipal Code 3.20.125 authorizes the negotiated
sale of City property deemed to be "surplus ".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. The foregoing findings and recitals are true, correct, and
incorporated herein.
2. Real Property located at the NEC of Kern Street and East 21 st Street,
Bakersfield, California is hereby declared surplus to the City's needs and the
Finance Director is authorized to negotiate its sale.

HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof
held on APR 16 2014 by the following vote:
