HomeMy WebLinkAboutROI NO 0434RESOLUTION OF INTENTION No. 434 which said district is bounded and de- scribed as follows: Beginning at a point in the easterly line of Baker Street 150 feet northerly from the northerly line of Kentucky Street and running thence easterly on a line 150 feet northerly from and paral- lel to the northerly line of Kentucky Street to the westerly line of Gage Street; thence southerly along the west- erly line of Gage Street and the exten- sion southerly thereof to a point 150 feet southerly from the southerly line of Kentucky Street; thence westerly on a line 150 feet southerly from and paral- lel to the southerly line of Kentucky Street to the easterly line of Baker Street; thence northerly along the east- . erly line of Baker Street to the point of beginning, all in the City of Bak- ersfield, California_ Notice is hereby given that serial bbnds to represent unpaid assessments, and bear interest at the rate of seven (7%) per cent per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided by the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and all acts amendatory thereof, the last,in- stallment of which bonds shall mature nine years from the 2nd day of July next succeeding nine months from their date. Except as hereinabove otherwise pro- vided for the issuance of said serial bonds, all of the herein proposed work shall be done in pursuance of an act of the Legislature of the State of Cali- fornia, designated the Improvement AC[ of 1911, approved April 7, 1911, and all acts amendatory thereof. Notice is hereby given that on Mon- day the 13th day of February I922, ac 8 o'clock P. M. at the regular meeting of the said City Council in the Council Chambers of said City Council in the City Hall of the City of Bakersfield, any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work or improvement may appear before said City Council and show cause why said proposed im- provement should not he carried out In accordance with said Resolution. The City Clerk of said City of Bakers- field shall cause this Resolution of In- tention to be published twice in THE BAKERSFIELD CALIFORNIAN, a daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in said City of Bakersfield. and hereby designated for that purpose by said City Council. The Street Superintendent of said City of Bakersfield shall ca,se to be conspicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work and improve- ment and along all the open streets within said district, notice of the pas- sage of this Resolution of Intention. in the manner and form re.~quired by law, and in said notice he shall call at- tention to the Warrenite-l)itulithic License Mlxtur~ Agreement of the War- ren Brothers Company, of date January 18th, 1922, on file in the office of the City Clerk. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the fore- going Resolution of Intention was regu- larly introduced passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersf eld, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 23rd day of January, 1922, by the following yote: Ayes -- Carlisle, Griffith, Hare, Hougham, Robinson, Smith, Willow.
