to remove items 3.B.1. and 3.B.3. for discussion.
PUBLIC HEARING

The staff report was given. Member Fick questioned the applicant,
Christina Felix. The public hearing was closed.
Motion by Member Fick to approve File No. 12 -0021 with APPROVED
modifications to condition A.1. to require that a building permit be
obtained within 30 days and to require that a certificate of
occupancy be obtained within 60 days.
2. File No. 12 -0094 - Zoning modification to permit an 8 -foot tall RES 12 -10
wrought iron swimming pool fence where the maximum

The staff report was given.
Kern City residents Roger Kirby, Pat Kirby, Joel Segrest, Sandy Segrest,
JoAnn Miller, and Patricia Lovano spoke in opposition to the proposal.
Susan Salvucci and Shannon Blair, tenants of the subject property, and
Philip Rudnick, applicant, spoke in favor of the proposal.
The public hearing was closed.
Motion by Member Underwood to continue File No. 12 -0117 to May 8,
2012.
