MATERIALS: PIPE AND FITTINGS 12" AND SMALLER IN DIAMETER SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF ASTM SPECIFICATIONS D3034 AND SDR 35. PIPE AND FITTINGS 15" AND LARGER SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF ASTM SPECIFICATION F679, T1 OR T2. PIPE AND FITTINGS SHALL BE HOMOGENEOUS THROUGHOUT AND FREE FROM CRACKS, HOLES, FOREIGN INCLUSIONS OR OTHER INJURIOUS DEFECTS. FITTINGS SHALL BE INJECTION MOLDED AND SHALL BE INSTALLED IN LINE ON NEW PIPELINES. CUT -IN FITTINGS OR SADDLES ARE NOT PERMITTED. B. JOINTS: USE ONLY ELASTOMERIC GASKET JOINTS.
