by Ordinance No. 18, of said City to 91.92 feet above said datum

fixed by Ordinance No. 18, of said City to 94.S7 feet above said

All of the herein described work s~ll be done in pursuan~
of an act of the Legislature of the State of California entitled,
"An act to provide for cnan~ing or modifying the grade of public
streets, l~nes, alleys, courts or other places within municipalities"
approved April 21, 1909.
The Bakersfield Californian is hereby designated as the
daily newspaper published and circulated in said City in Which this
Resolution of Intention and the Street Superintendent'e notice of tn~
passage thereof shall be published. The Clerk of this Council is
hereby directed to pubtisn this Resolution by two successive inser-
tions in said newspaper and to post the same for two consecutive~ days
onor near the chamber door of this Council.
The Superintendents of Streets of ~aid City is hereby
directed to post notice of the paasage of this Resolution of Inten-
tion in the manner and in the form required by law and to cause a
similar notice to be published for six days in said daily newspaper.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution of Intenti~
