PORTION OF 13th Street and A Street,
in the City of Bakersfield.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSF~LD,
That it is the intention of the Council of the City of
That the following described portion of A Street and
13th Street, in the City of Bakersfield, as follows:
Beginnin~ at a point in ~e westerly line of A Street ~48.30
feet northerly from the northerly lime of Califm. nia Avenue and running
thence northerly along said westerly line of A Street to its inter-
section with the northerly linB of 13th Street; thence easterly along
said northerly line of 13th Street a distance of 160.46 feet; thence
southwesterly on a strai~ht line to ~e point of be~innin~ be
closed to the public.
All of t~e herein proposed work and improvement shall
be done in pursuance of an act of the legislature of the State of
California, entitled "A~ ACT TO PROVIDE FO~ THE LAYING OUT, OPENING,
EXTENDING, WIDENING, STRAIGHTENING OR CLOSING UP, IN ~HOLE 0 R IN PART
ANY STREET, SQUARE, LANE, ALLEY, COU~(T OR PLACE ~VITHIN MUNICIPALITIES
AND TO CONDE~iN AND ACQUIRE ANY AND ALL LAND NECESSARY OR CONVENIENT
FOR T~AT PURPOSE," approved ~arch 6, 1~89, and the several acts
amendatory thereof or supplemental thereto.
The Daily Report, is hereby designated as the daily
newspaper published and circulated in said City in which the Street
Superintendent's notice of the passage of this Resolution shall be
published.
I ~I~BY CEWTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the ~/~
day of November, 192~, by the following vote:
