ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
as follows:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE 00UNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKER~F~E D
That it is the intention of the Council of the City of
Bakersfield to order the following street work ~ be done to-wit:
That that certain alley running northerly and southerly between
~th Street and 8th Street through Blocks ~$, 7~, 6~ and $~ of the
Lowell Addition in the City of B~kersfield, be diminished to a
uniform width of twenty feet between the property lines.
All of the herein proposed work shall be done in pur-
suance of an act of the Legislature of the State of California,
entitled "An act to provide for the laying out, opening, entending,
~idening, straightening, or closing up in whole or in part, any
street, lane, square, alley, court or place within ~unicipalities,
and to conde~m and acquire all lands and property necessary or con-
venient for that purpose," approved ~arch 8th, 1889, and the several
acts ~mendatory thereof or supplemental thereto.
The Daily Report, is hereby ~signated as the daily
newspaper published and circulated in said City in ~ich the
Superintendent of Street's notice of the passage of this Resolution
shall be published~
i HEU~BY CERTIFY that t~e foregoing Resolution of Inten-
tion was passed by tb~e Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the
