RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE
SALE OF DROP OFF RECYCLING CONTAINERS
TO BAKERSFIELD A -R -C (BARC),
A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION
FOR FIFTEEN DOLLARS ($15)
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses fifteen (15) surplus drop off
recycling containers; and
WHEREAS, Bakersfield A -R -C (BARC), a nonprofit organization, desires to
purchase the surplus fifteen (15) recycling containers at a cost of one dollar
each for a total of $15; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section
3.20.120(F) the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus
equipment to a nonprofit organization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated
herein by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell fifteen (15)
surplus drop -off recycling containers to Bakersfield A -R -C (BARC) for
fifteen dollars ($15).
