A RESOLUTION DECLARING REAL PROPERTY
SURPLUS TO THE NEEDS OF THE CITY AND
AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
NEGOTIATE ITS SALE
WHEREAS, the City owns a fee simple interest in property located at 3120
Hosking Road; and,
WHEREAS, Ismael Arredondo and Maria De Jesus V. Arredondo have
requested the City sell this property described in Exhibit "A, A -1 and A -2"
attached hereto.
WHEREAS, the Bakersfield Planning Department found the sale of this
property to be consistent with the Metropolitan Bakersfield 2010 General Plan
pursuant to Government Code Section 65402.
WHEREAS, Bakersfield Municipal Code 3.20.125 authorizes the negotiated
sale of City property deemed to be "surplus ".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. The foregoing findings and recitals are true, correct, and
incorporated herein.
2. Real Property located at 3120 Hosking Road, Bakersfield, California is
hereby declared surplus to the City's needs and the Finance Director is
authorized to negotiate its sale.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
That portion of Lots 25 and 26 in Section ,25, Township 30 South, Range 27 East,
M.D.M., in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kem, State of California, according to Kem
County Sales Map No. 1 of Lands of J.B. Haggin fled May 3, 1889, in the Office of the
County Recorder of said County described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of said lot 26 distant 468 feet East of the Southwest
comer of said Lot; thence Northwesterly to a point on the East line of that certain Parcel
of Land conveyed to Robert Rogers, et ux, as joint tenants,.y deed recorded June 18,
1941- in. Birk 962, page 293 of.Off:cial Records, said point being distant 141 feet East of
the West line of said Section 25; thence Southwesterly along the East line of said Parcel
of land conveyed to said Rogers to the South line of said Lot 26; thence East along the
South line of said Lot 26 to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of said Lot 26 distant South 89 047'45" East, 275.00
• feet from the Southwest comer of said Lot; thence North parallel with the West line of
said Lot, 358.26 feet to a point in the Easterly line of that certain Parcel of land described
