BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CO~ffNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
aa follows:
That it is
Bakersfield to order
the intention of the Council of the City of
the following street work to be done smd
improvement to be made, to-wit:
That the alley running easterly and westerly through block
No. 21V, as said block is shwon on that certain map entitled "~ap of
Kern" and filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of
Kern County April 10th 1893, from the easteelw line of King Street
to the westerly line of Beale Avenue, excluding therefrom a rm~ht of
way 5 feet, with 2~ feet on either side of the center line of
alley, to be used for repairing or remodeling said sewer line now
constructed or layed, and a right to ].ay, construct or install new
or additional sewer lines, water lines, gas lines, or other pipe
lines, be and the same is hereby closed to the public.
All of the herein proposed work and improvement shall be
done in pur6uance of an act of the Legislature of the State of California,
entitled, "AN ACT TO PROVIDE FO~ ~ ~
TH~ LAYING OUT, OP~NING, EXTENDING,
WIDENING, STRAIGHTENING OR CLOSI~O UP~ IN WHOLE OR IN PART, ANY STREET,
SQUARE, Lo~ ~., ALLEY, COURT OR PLACE ~,ITHiN I¥1UNIC!PALITIES, AND TO
COND~i, ~ND AC.~UiRE ~NY AND ~!.LL LdND NECESSAi-~Y OR CONWZNIENT FOR TH/~T
PURPOSE," approved March 6, 1889, and the several acts amendatory
thereof and supplemental ttl~reto.
THE ~ ..:~..r~:~ ............. ~;_~:~ is hereb?r designated as the
daily newspaper published and cmrculatea in said City in which the
Stroet Superint~rdent's notice of the passage of this Resolution shall
be published.
I HEREBY CEETiFY that the foregoing Resolution was paased
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield on the
day of ~ , 1922. by the following vote:
