Present: Mayor Hall, Vice -Mayor Hanson,
Councilmembers Rivera (seated at 3:08
p.m.), Maxwell, Weir, Smith, Sullivan
Absent: Parlier
2. PUBLIC STATEMENTS
None.
3. CLOSED SESSION
a. Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing
Litigation; Closed Session pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1)
regarding City v, California High -Speed Rail
Authority, Sacramento County Superior Court
Case No. 34- 2014 - 8000 -1866.
b. Conference with Legal Counsel - Potential
Litigation; Closed Session pursuant to
Government Code Section 549569(d)(2),(e)(1)
(one matter).
City Clerk Gafford announced that at the request of
staff, item 3.b. has been pulled from the agenda; and
correspondence was received from Leticia Perez,
Chair of the Kern County Board of Supervisors
regarding the High Speed Rail project.
Motion by Vice -Mayor Hanson to adjourn to Closed APPROVED
Session at 3:03 p.m. AB PARLIER
Motion by Councilmember Maxwell to adjourn from APPROVED
Closed Session at 4:51 p.m. AB PARLIER
Meeting reconvened at 4:54 p.m.
