ERRFA County Administrative Officer September 18, 2007 On Ari124, 2007, your Board approved establishment of a Transportation Funding Taskforce. T'he Taskforce, as originlly envisioned, would consist of two members of the Board of Supervisors and two members of the Baker:field City Council. Subseuent to the Board's formation of the Taskforce, the City of Bakersfield elected to appoint three members of the City Council to the Taskforce and also proposed changes to the function and composition of the advisory committee. The County approved the bulk of the City's proposed changes to the Taskforce and the first meeting of the Taskforce was set for August 20, 2007. In pre.paration for the meeting of the Taskforce, City and County staff inet several times to identify solutions to issues raised by both entities, As a result, significant issue resolution occurred prior to the initial meeting of the Taskforce.
