A RESOLUTION DECLARING REAL PROPERTY
SURPLUS TO THE NEEDS OF THE CITY AND
AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
NEGOTIATE ITS SALE
WHEREAS, the City owns a fee simple interest in property located at 13202
Fall River Place; and,
WHEREAS, John Bertoni and June Bertoni have requested the City sell this
property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
WHEREAS, the Bakersfield Planning Department found the sale of this
property to be consistent with the Metropolitan Bakersfield 2010 General Plan
pursuant to Government Code Section 65402.
WHEREAS, Bakersfield Municipal Code 3.20.125 authorizes the negotiated
sale of City property deemed to be "surplus ".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. The foregoing findings and recitals are true, correct, and
incorporated herein.
2. Real Property located at 13202 Fall River Place, Bakersfield, California
is hereby declared surplus to the City's needs and the Finance Director is
authorized to negotiate its sale.

Lot 41 of Tract No. 6007, Unit one, in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State
of California, as per Map recorded June 8, 2001 in Book 47, Page 23 of Maps, in
the Office of the County Recorder of said County.
Excepting therefrom all oil, gas and other Hydro Carbon Substances, as
previously reserved of record.
