ALL STREETS HAVE BEEN DESIGNED USING A MINIMUM "R" VALUE AS STATED IN THE SOILS REPORT. SEE STRUCTURAL SECTIONS FOR EACH STREET FOR SPECIFIC INFORMATION. SHOULD FURTHER TESTING SHOW A LOWER "R" VALUE OF THE ACTUAL IN PLACE MATERIAL, STREETS SHALL BE REDESIGNED ACCORDING TO THE LOWER "R" VALUE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY ENGINEER. 5. RELATIVE COMPACTION OF NOT LESS THAN 95% SHALL BE OBTAINED FOR A MINIMUM DEPTH (T) OF 1.1 FOOT BELOW FINISH GRADE ON LOCAL STREETS (T =1.5' TO 2.5' AS DIRECTED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR ON COLLECTOR AND ARTERIAL HIGHWAYS) FROM LIP OF GUTTER TO LIP OF GUTTER. IN ADDITION, RELATIVE COMPACTION OF NOT LESS THAN 90% SHALL BE OBTAINED FOR A MINIMUM DEPTH OF 0.5 FEET BELOW GRADING PLANE FOR THE ENTIRE WIDTH OF PAVEMENT (LIP OF GUTTER TO LIP OF GUTTER). 6.
