AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION C.
OF SECTION 3.20.060 OF THE BAKERS-
FIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
BIDDING.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
Municipal
SECTION 1.
Subsection C. of Section 3.20.060 of the
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Bakersfield
C. Award of Bids. Except as otherwise provided in this
chapter, all bids shall be awarded by the city council to the
lowest responsible bidder submitting a responsive bid resulting in
the lowest possible net cost to the city.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
Bakersfield Municipal Code provisions and shall become effective
thirty (30) days from and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of ~e_~ty of Bakersfield at a regular
