TO SECTION 17.~0.0~0 OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO SIGN REGULATIONS IN THE BAKERSFIELD AUTO MALL. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on a proposal regarding sign regulations in the Bakersfield Auto Mall, as depicted in Exhibit "A", to add Subsection B.9. of Section 17.60.060 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 56-94 on October 6, 1994, the Planning Commission recommended approval and adoption of said proposal, and this Council has fully considered the findings made by the Planning Commission as set forth in that Resolution; and WHEREAS, the law and regulations relating to CEQA and City of Bakersfield's CEQA Implementation Procedures, have been duly followed by city staff, Planning Commission and this Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered and hereby adopts the Planning Commission findings contained in Resolution No. 56-94. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: 1. All the foregoing recitals are hereby found to be true and correct. SECTION 1. Subsection B.9. is hereby added to Section 17.60.060 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code to read as follows: SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the Bakersfield Municipal Code and shall become effective not less than thirty (30) days from and after the date of its passage. 9.
